In this Asian derby match, Japan faced Korea. It was almost all Korea from the start with Japan defending for most of the game. The Japanese ladies did however manage to convert one of their few chances through Okinawa to tie the game 1-1 and finish with a draw. This was a re run of the Asia Cup final where the teams also ended in a draw.
