Tonights games are effectively the play offs for the final. Malaysia went into the game with a 7 goal advantage on goal difference over Korea. Provided they could contain Australia, they would be almost assuresed a place in tomorrows final. Of course, Korea had other plans as they played the last match of the night against the South Africans. Continental Asian Champions Korea would be going for the win and knew what target they needed to make the final. The night was set for a dramatic final days play and did not disappoint. Australia took the first game 6-2 after a slow first half with just one goal. Severalcards were shown during the game and seemed to disruot Malaysia's play more than Australia's. Korea dominated but could not core enough goals to clear their deficit. Although they won the match, they could not make the final due to goal difference.
