Bangladesh finished the asia cup tournament in fine form, beating Chinese Taipei 11-3. This was the playoff for 7th and 8th place. The second match of the day saw Japan take on Oman for 5th and 6th place. Japan beat Oman 3-1 in a close fought contest. Oman were very quick on the break but could not finish. The result was a fair indication ofthe game although 3-2 would perhaps been better.
