This wa s cracker of a game. It started with Malaysia in control. Even though Malaysia were defending most of the time,the retained the ball and looked comfortable. There was however some indiscipline in the Malaysian side and this lead to a penalty stroke. This was converted and at this point in the game, it was all South Africa. The two teams were the lowest ranked in the World Cup but played some great hockey in patches, showing just how close the competition really is. For neutral fans, it was an 8 goal delight to watch.
